Eric Graves, President, and CEO of Highland Park Insurance, has over 15+ years of experience, blending expertise in both commercial real estate and insurance. A Dallas native and Highland Park High School graduate (Class of 2003), Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate & Sustainable Development from the University of Arizona (Class of 2008).
Eric’s professional journey began at Lincoln Property Company, where he advanced from intern to tenant and landlord broker. His exceptional negotiation skills and deep understanding of the real estate needs of his owners, executives, investors and landlords set him apart. In 2013, he transitioned to the insurance industry, serving as Vice President of Small Business & Marketing for a regional Managing General Agent (MGA) and later as a Team Leader / Property Broker for a prominent national wholesale firm. His expertise in complex insurance placements for apartment complexes, HOAs, self-storage facilities, industrial properties, office buildings, school districts, and public entities established his reputation as an industry expert.
In April 2018, Eric founded Highland Park Insurance Agency to address gaps in the insurance market. Under his leadership, the agency has rapidly emerged as a national leader, specializing in commercial real estate, business owners, family offices, and High-Net-Worth insurance for successful individuals and families. The agency is recognized for its innovative approach, strategic insight, advanced analytics, and effective use of technology to enhance client interaction, communication, and retention.
Eric emphasizes the importance of navigating the insurance marketplace effectively and understanding the true value of insurance. As he puts it, “We are an independent insurance agency, and as a result, we can help insureds navigate the marketplace more efficiently and effectively. We may not always be the cheapest, but we aim to protect our clients at the time of a loss. It’s not a matter of if a loss will happen, it’s when.”

Outside of work, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Summer, their family, and friends, as well as golfing and traveling. He values community engagement and is dedicated to continuous personal and professional growth.
